Cook Group Property Management strives to make life easier for all our rental property owners and their tenants. Our talented team of experts take care of every detail from rent collection and disbursement to repair and maintenance, after-hours emergency calls, quarterly property inspection and more, to ensure every aspect of your investment property venture is taken care of without a glitch. 

Our Mission

After speaking to many rental property owners and their tenants over the years and learning about their dissatisfaction with their existing property managers, we determined that we need to get involved, and so, the Cook Group Property Management was born. The property owners’ complaints ranged from lack of timely response to their concerns and needs, to property managers treating their job more as a favor, rather than a job they were paid to perform, to frivolous excuses for undone time-sensitive repairs and tasks. 

Our mission is very simple; we ensure timely communication with our owners and tenants and quick remedies to all issues that may arise, or you can terminate our services at any time during the first 6 months of our service, without any yearly contractual obligation. 

Meet Our Team

Brad & Jessica Cook

Jessica and Brad Cook (The Cook Team) combines over 15 years of business management experience for Fortune 500 companies, as well as professional studies in management and accounting. As an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) with a VHDA certification, The Cook Team brings you the specialized skills and knowledge buyers, sellers, investors and tenants need in order to make informed real estate decisions. 

Jessica holds her At Home With Diversity (AHWD) & Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designations. She was named the 2014 Rookie of the Year and the Cook Team is the recipient of the 2015-2020 President’s Award by the Blue Ridge Association of Realtors for their award winning sales volume, their abilities as Realtors, as well as their personal and professional approach to conducting business. 

The Cook Team closed out 2016 as Warren County’s top producing agents. In 2017 they made the decision to transition to Keller Williams Realty out of Manassas Virginia, bringing this great company to the Warren County & surrounding counties, enabling them to now offer their clients the power of a national brand within an office of 200+ agents in Northern VA. With their experience in both real estate & business, they can guide you through all of your property management, as well as real estate needs. 

It was through all those years of experience in dealing with investment rental property owners and their tenants that the Cook Team discovered a gap that needed to be filled.

Both the owners and their tenants expressed their dissatisfaction with their current property management services and their unprofessional and inept approach to their needs and nagging concerns to the Cook Team. In one such episode, one of their investment property owners expressed his gratitude for their professionalism in handling all of his real estate acquisitions and that if he could only find a property management who could be just as responsive and on-target as The Cook Team, all his problems would be over. He then asked them what prevented them from starting a new company that could manage his properties. This was the turning point for the Cook Team. Within days after that discussion the Cook Team began assembling a team of experts to do just that, hence the Cook Group was formed.

The Cook Group’s main objective, is to ensure both the owners and their tenants are served in a timely, responsive manner and with the utmost diligence as possible.

As Jessica stated, “Performing our job in managing our clients’ properties at a top level and to the best of our abilities is our number one priority. There are no justification or excuses for anything less then getting the job done in a timely manner and without any disruptions, period!”
